The Karab & Keychain Set is a collaboration between Project Nova and a Bohol-based leather artisan. As a cruelty-free brand, Project Nova never uses virgin leather. Instead, this product serves as a zero-waste solution for the artisan by transforming leather scraps and off-cuts into rescued leather goods, paired with our carabiner pieces and tied with cord knots.

Each Karab is made of 4-6 bottle caps.

NOTE: As each karab is made out of unique caps, the colors are RANDOM. 

WHAT MAKES IT GOOD?

Project Nova is an initiative by KayakAsia Philippines, an eco-adventure kayak touring company run and managed by local guides. The organization works closely with host communities to offer alternative livelihoods aligned with their core philosophy, including river and coastal guiding, artisanal handcrafting of upcycled gear, and community environmental stewardship programs.

In addition to providing high-value employment to community members, a monthly share of revenue goes directly into a community fund to support locally driven livelihood projects.
