Behind the Weave: A Visit to La Union's Weaving Community

We recently had the privilege of visiting the partner weaving community of WVN Living in Banguar, La Union. As a social enterprise, we believe it's essential to connect with the communities where our products are made. This visit allowed us to get to know the talented artisans and learn about the craftsmanship that goes into each handwoven Inabel product.

Learning from the Artisans

During our visit, we had the opportunity to hear the stories of the weavers and learn about the intricate process of creating each piece. From the careful selection of threads to the meticulous weaving process, every step is a testament to the artisans' skill and dedication in crafting their community product.

Thank You, WVN Living!

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Kylie and Yvette, the founders of WVN Living, for making this experience possible. Their passion for preserving traditional craftsmanship and supporting local communities is truly inspiring, and we're grateful to be part of their journey.

Visits like these remind us of the importance of fair trade practices and the value of human connection in the products we create. Just like these colorful threads, each Inabel piece is made by a local weaver with a unique story and identity. Let us support their livelihood and contribute in the sustainability of these important cultural heritage of Inabel weaving. Check out WVN's hand towels, bath towel and other community products in our shop tab.
